I know. I have been there too.
Dreamed for years to learn a foreign language… tried classes, used all the Apps, but when it came conversations, I couldn’t blubber out more than ‘Si’ and ‘Gracias.'
Then I had a real surprise. Laying on a paper-covered plastic table of my OB-gyn, I found out my final baby would be... Two.
Shocked and crying, I realized I would be a mother of five… yes 5.
The first couple of years were ROUGH.
One time while loading groceries, I accidentally left one baby carrier on the curb next to my car-- with the baby in it! Thank goodness a kind woman frantically honked at me.
I was overworked, tired and ‘just surviving,’ until one day I had a strong nudge of inspiration to start learning Spanish again. But this time I was doing it with my kids.
It took hours of trial and error, and late nights researching the proven methods to language acquisition, but in the end. . .
I cracked the code.
And I am bound and determined to help other parents learn and use the method because...
Learning a second langauge doesn't need to take hours of study on DuoLingo or memorization of conjugation charts.
Learning a langauge happens naturally, and if you are a parent, that environment can be THE KEY to unlocking the door to giving that gift to yourself and your child.
